Ka Mana Services provides therapy entirely through secure telehealth, so you can meet from the comfort and privacy of your own space — on any island.

I use an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system called Upheal. Upheal’s telehealth is built right into the platform — no separate apps or logins needed. Here’s how it works.

Before the session

You get a simple link

You will receive a calendar invite with a link to join. You click it at the scheduled time — from any device with a browser — and you’re in.

During the session

We meet face to face

We’ll see each other on video and hear each other on audio. Upheal takes notes during the session and transcribes it for me in an insurance-compliant format, so I can spend my time focused on you.

After the session

Notes are handled securely

I’m able to edit the notes, add context, or regenerate them in a different format if necessary — all within the secure platform.

For telehealth appointments, we encourage you to:

  • Use a private and quiet location
  • Ensure a stable internet connection
  • Use headphones if desired for additional privacy

Telehealth sessions are conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. While every effort is made to protect your privacy, no electronic communication system can guarantee absolute security.
